This o-ring is supplied in AS568-314 red Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.725 in (18.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.145 in (29.08 mm), catalogued under part number S70314. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity.
