-322 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70322 is an AS568-322 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.225 in (31.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.645 in (41.78 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers excellent electrical insulating properties and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.
