APG stocks the S70340, an AS568-340 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone offers physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service.
