-347 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70347 is an AS568-347 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.645 in (117.98 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to dry heat, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range.

It sees regular use in sanitary process lines, ovens and heated equipment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
