The S70368 is an AS568-368 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.145 in (206.88 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range are present.
