-383 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70383, this is an AS568-383 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.395 in (365.63 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to dry heat, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone delivers very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.
