Ordered as S70401, this is an AS568-401 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone delivers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
