-442 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70442 is an AS568-442 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids.
