S70451 is an AS568-451 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.525 in (292.74 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Silicone is specified for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
