-460 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70460 is an AS568-460 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.475 in (393.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.025 in (407.04 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range are present.
