S3X50 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 50 mm (1.969 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 56 mm (2.2 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone delivers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or steam above its rated range.
