This o-ring is supplied in red Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 62 mm (2.441 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 65 mm (2.56 in), catalogued under part number S1.5X62. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is widely chosen for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Expect good resistance to ozone and UV exposure, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids.
