Part number S1.5X7 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7 mm (0.276 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 10 mm (0.39 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone offers very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
