3MM CS X 7MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

Part number S3X7 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7 mm (0.276 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 13 mm (0.51 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids are present.
