APG stocks the S2.5X9, a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9 mm (0.354 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 14 mm (0.55 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone delivers very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.
