-903 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70903, this is an AS568-903 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.301 in (7.65 mm), a cross section of 0.064 in (1.63 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.429 in (10.9 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone is specified for an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Expect good resistance to extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service are present.

Typical settings include medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
