-924 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70924, this is an AS568-924 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.72 in (43.69 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.956 in (49.68 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service are present.
