APG stocks the SV70109, an AS568-109 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
