568-014 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70014 is an AS568-014 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.489 in (12.42 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.629 in (15.98 mm). Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
