568-027 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70027 is an AS568-027 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

The material holds up against wide temperature swings, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
