Part number TES70112 is an AS568-112 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.487 in (12.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.693 in (17.6 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. The catalog record notes: ORING 70 Durometer.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and strong resistance to permeation. This material stands up to steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
