568-234 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70234, an AS568-234 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
