568-241 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Part number TES70241 is an AS568-241 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.859 in (98.02 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.137 in (105.08 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The compound resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.
