568-249 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70249 is an AS568-249 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.859 in (123.42 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.137 in (130.48 mm). It resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.
