568-266 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70266, an AS568-266 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.984 in (202.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.262 in (209.85 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. It resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
