568-362 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70362 is an AS568-362 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.645 in (168.78 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for strong resistance to permeation and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. This material stands up to wide temperature swings, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
