568-013 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70013, this is an AS568-013 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.426 in (10.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.566 in (14.38 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. The catalog record notes: ORING 70 Durometer.

It resists nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
