APG stocks the TES70032, an AS568-032 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.864 in (47.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.004 in (50.9 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, and chemical processing.
