568-036 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70036 is an AS568-036 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

It resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
