568-113 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70113, an AS568-113 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.549 in (13.94 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.755 in (19.18 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers strong resistance to permeation and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and wide temperature swings. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
