568-114 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70114 is an AS568-114 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. This material stands up to wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
