568-117 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70117 is an AS568-117 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.799 in (20.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.005 in (25.53 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
