568-118 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70118 is an AS568-118 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.862 in (21.89 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.068 in (27.13 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers strong resistance to permeation and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. This material stands up to steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
