PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. Expect good resistance to wide temperature swings, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
