TES70144 is an AS568-144 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.487 in (63.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.693 in (68.4 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

The material holds up against steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
