568-146 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Part number TES70146 is an AS568-146 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm). This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and wide temperature swings. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
