568-217 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70217, an AS568-217 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
