TES70233 is an AS568-233 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.859 in (72.62 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.137 in (79.68 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
