TES70253 is an AS568-253 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.359 in (136.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.637 in (143.18 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

Expect good resistance to wide temperature swings, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
