The TES70255 is an AS568-255 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
