568-256 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Part number TES70256 is an AS568-256 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.734 in (145.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.012 in (152.7 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The material holds up against wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
