568-262 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-262 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 6.984 in (177.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.262 in (184.45 mm), catalogued under part number TES70262. It resists steam, wide temperature swings, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
