568-269 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70269, this is an AS568-269 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.734 in (221.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.012 in (228.9 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. It resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
