568-270 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70270 is an AS568-270 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.984 in (228.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.262 in (235.25 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, wide temperature swings, and nearly all process chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, chemical processing, and food and beverage processing.
