PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. The compound resists wide temperature swings, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing.

It sees regular use in cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, food and beverage processing, and chemical processing.
