SILICONE FEP ENCAP ORING -324

TES70324 is an AS568-324 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.77 in (44.96 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and strong resistance to permeation. Expect good resistance to wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges are present.
