568-325 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70325 is an AS568-325 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.895 in (48.13 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. The catalog record notes: ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, wide temperature swings, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
