568-349 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70349 is an AS568-349 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.895 in (124.33 mm). It resists steam, wide temperature swings, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.
