568-353 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70353, an AS568-353 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.395 in (137.03 mm). It resists nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
