Ordered as TES70366, this is an AS568-366 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.645 in (194.18 mm). This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is widely chosen for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and strong resistance to permeation. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
